Hello all,

I apologize for my absence, but hubby and I have been very busy. So, what have we been up to?


Work, work, work, house projects (we finally have just about all of them done…hurray), we enjoyed a fabulous day in San Francisco, as well as a visit from Will's father, and we managed to seek away to Oregon for the holiday weekend. It was blissful.

What else you may ask?

Well...

We also have some exciting news to share with you readers. We are expecting our first child! We are some very excited parents-to-be. This news came to us on Father's Day morning. It was the perfect Father's day surprise. We couldn't be more thrilled.

I'll share more later on this. We get to see our little one for the first time next week. :)

Also, I would like to introduce something new to this blog. From time to time you may see posts on double duty decorating ideas. In just a few days I will have the first post up. Basically, these posts will consist of ideas using objects you may already have in your home or that you could easily thrift, and ways to put them to new uses. Simple enough, right? And totally functional and cute, even easy on your wallet. Keep your eyes out for these posts.
