holland turned two (a couple weeks ago might i add). we invited a few friends and family members over, blew out a couple candles, dished out some donuts, because they are just about his favorite thing ever, and had the kids (and adults) head outside for a little evening play, gifts and giggles. and then we sent everyone home just before bedtime with their bellies full of sugar. sorry parents! thanks for being good sports.

we spent his birthday morning, per his request at the park with a treat, and the afternoon snoozing away all worn out from a whole lot of play. how two sweet years have passed already is beside me.
